A Dallas, Texas native, Harold Collum is the CEO of U.S. Data Mining, providing Environmental, Health and Safety, and Risk Management database products and services to a wide range of government and corporate clients, and is the President and Founder of Health Care Cyber Defense, a start-up providing data security and secure communications for hospitals and health care organizations. Past experience has included consulting for major hospital systems, as well as large public health care institutions.
Mr. Collum also serves on the Board of Directors of the Cloud Security Alliance–NT, and is their Marketing Director. CSA is a non-profit organization with over 48,000 individual members worldwide.
Mr. Collum has served on advisory boards and committees for The W.A.R.M. Place, a children’s grieving center in Fort Worth, Texas, Constituting America, an organization committed to furthering a deeper understanding of, and respect for, the United States Constitution, and Nexus Women’s Recovery Center.
Harold is an ordained elder in his church, and previously served on the board of Dallas Christian Academy.
Mr. Collum earned a B.S. in Behavioral Science at Andrews University, later enrolling in graduate courses in inferential statistics and research methodology at the University of North Texas and the University of Texas at Arlington.
Harold is a graduate of the Dallas FBI Citizen’s Academy, and a member of InfraGard’s Health Care & Public Health critical infrastructure group, and the Secret Service’s Electronic Crimes Task Force.
He is a Texas Navy Admiral, a member of Mensa Int’l, and an active Freemason.
